His role as the second Chairperson of the Ghana Hubs Network (GHN) highlighted his leadership, organizing the “25 Days of WOW,” a national initiative that influenced Ghana’s entrepreneurship policy. Globally, Gideon has extended his influence by orchestrating the German African Entrepreneurship Summit (GAES) in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, drawing over 170 hubs and startups to Accra. In education, Gideon has trained over 1,000 teachers and through the Code4Girls project, he equipped a similar number of senior high school girls with digital skills, advocating for gender equality and empowerment. His research contributions, particularly through collaborations with organizations like GIZ and the European Union-funded AfriConEU consortium, have deepened his understanding of Ghana’s innovation ecosystems.
