Matt has worked in a diverse range of innovative environments spanning government funded entrepreneurial schemes and food sector R&D, through to gaining >25 years senior experience in financial risk management, most recently as a climate risk manager at BNP Paribas bank. Matt is currently running Linux Foundation's open source (OS-Climate) climate initiative's Physical Risk and Resilience workstream where he is developing open source tooling which supports climate risk measurement and resilience around the globe.
