Carlos works at The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a financial market infrastructure company, as a Director and Sr Principal Engineer in the IT organization (Team: Technology Research and Innovation). His main focus is on financial market infrastructure capabilities using DLT & Blockchain technology. Before joining DTCC, Carlos worked at ConsenSys, the product software company founded by Joseph Lubin (co-founder of Ethereum Foundation) and creator of Web3 products such as MetaMask, Hyperledger Besu and Infura. Carlos joined the blockchain space in late 2014. Carlos has a Computer Science’s degree, a Master’s degree in Innovation Management, and a PhD in Innovation Economics.
